Attorney
Alan Haney
Of Counsel
Trial attorney and longtime felony prosecutor for the 15th Judicial District. Practice focused on civil litigation, business law, and construction law.
Alan Haney brings well over a decade of courtroom experience to Beal & Hebert, where his practice focuses on civil litigation, business law, and construction law. A career prosecutor as well as a civil advocate, he is as at home trying a case to verdict as he is guiding a business through a difficult dispute.
A native of New Iberia, Alan graduated from Catholic High School in 2000, earned his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University in 2004, and received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2007.
Since 2007, Alan has served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District, where he continues to prosecute serious felonies — including rape, homicide, and public corruption — on behalf of the people of Lafayette Parish. That trial experience shapes how he approaches every matter at the firm: thorough preparation, candid advice, and a genuine readiness to take a case to trial when that is what it takes.
At Beal & Hebert, Alan represents businesses and individuals across Acadiana in civil litigation, business transactions and disputes, and construction matters.
